We know… it’s frustrating.
A lot of effort goes into listing a house with an agent and getting everything ready for selling… but crickets.
And now things are back at square one. 🙁
But not all is lost… here are 4 things you can do with a home that won’t sell (even if you think it’s totally hopeless).
List The House Again — It’s probably not the first thing a seller wants to hear… but it is an option. If the plan is to list the house again, then we recommend updating appliances, making repairs, staging the home, and doing anything else that comes to mind that will help it sell on the MLS.
Find Tenants — If you’re struggling to sell your home the traditional route, but the house is still in good shape, then renting it out is a possibility. Just make sure to find good tenants who will treat your property with the respect it deserves and make payments on time.
Wait For a Better Market — This probably isn’t the answer anyone is looking for… but if it’s a tough market for the home’s price-point, then it might be better to wait until the market improves.
Sell To a Professional Homebuyer — If you want to sell your home quickly and for cash, then consider selling to a professional homebuyer (like us!). We will buy any property as-is and we’ll pay cash for it. We can even close in as little as two weeks. Give us a call at (301) 234-7300 to get your fair cash offer!
